Travel overland from Bangkok to Chiang Mai through three days of remarkable heritage scenery. Explore palace gardens and temple ruins in Ayutthaya, continue through Lopburi and Sukhothai, then finish with Si Satchanalai and a colourful horse-carriage ride in Lampang.
Meet your guide at your Bangkok hotel and travel to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, where elegant Thai, Chinese and European buildings sit among gardens, ponds and waterways.
Continue to Ayutthaya Historical Park and visit Wat Phanan Choeng before lunch at a local restaurant.
