- Meet your guide at your hotel and travel to Chiang Rai along scenic mountain roads. Pause at Mae Kachan Hot Spring, where naturally heated water bubbles beside the roadside and locals boil quail eggs. In Chiang Rai, visit Wat Rong Khun, the White Temple, whose brilliant white surfaces and mirrored details shimmer in the sun. After lunch, continue to Wat Rong Suea Ten, the Blue Temple, for intense colour and contemporary Buddhist art. Finish at Baan Dam Museum, the Black House, a dramatic collection of dark Lanna-style pavilions filled with unconventional art and woodcraft. Return to Chiang Mai in the late afternoon.
