Our Story

Some holidays take years to save for. Some bring a family together after a difficult season. Others may be the only time a person visits Thailand. We try to remember that what looks like another booking on a screen may become part of someone's life for a very long time.

How Oriental Escape began

Oriental Escape was established in Bangkok in 2005 by tourism professionals who wanted to build a company around good journeys and fair working relationships. We chose private travel because it gives people room to slow down, ask questions and change the pace when the day calls for it.

One plan, shared by the people around you

Our office team checks the arrangement before travel. Drivers and guides receive the confirmed details they need, while job tracking helps the team see what has been accepted and completed. If a flight is delayed or an itinerary changes, the update can be coordinated instead of being left with one person to solve alone.

Familiarity can continue

With your permission, we can keep practical preferences such as allergies, interests and the kind of pace you enjoy. A returning guest should not always have to start from the beginning. We also treat personal information and the identity of guests with care; private journeys remain private.

MEKHE Transport was established in 2014 as a separate transport company. Al Jazeera Travel serves travellers from the GCC with Arabic-speaking customer support. Each brand has its own purpose and contracts, while the operational teams share experience and systems behind the scenes.
