Sunrise at Sam Roi Yot
Early Morning Pick-Up
Depart your hotel before sunrise with your private guide and head toward Sam Roi Yot National Park. The early arrival ensures peaceful surroundings — no crowds, just calm nature awakening for the day.
Sunrise at Sam Roi Yot Lotus Pond
Arrive just as the sun rises over the limestone mountains, casting golden light across the vast lotus pond.
– Perfect timing: arrive when the sun clears the ridge, creating soft golden light for stunning photos.
– Quiet & peaceful: early morning means almost no tourists, only mist, calm water, and birdsong.
– Best season: November–March, when red lotus are in full bloom and many migratory waterbirds gather.
Walk along the wooden boardwalk or take a short boat ride (optional) to immerse in the wetlands, spot birds, and enjoy the tranquil scenery.
Continue to Phraya Nakhon Cave
Travel onward to Laem Sala Beach. On calm-sea days, take a short boat crossing to the starting point of the hike.
If the sea is rough or the wind is strong, the guide will lead you along the scenic coastal walking path instead.
The Trek to the Cave
From Laem Sala Beach, begin the ascent through forested trails and rocky paths (around 430–500 metres uphill). The walk is moderately challenging but can be done at an easy pace with short rest stops along the way.
Inside Phraya Nakhon Cave
Enter the huge cavern where two natural openings in the roof allow beams of sunlight to pour in.
– Highlight: the Khuha Kharuehat Pavilion, dramatically lit by a shaft of natural light.
– Best light: usually around 10:30–11:30 hrs, especially beautiful in the cool season (Nov–Feb).
The scene is quiet, sacred, and feels like a reward for those who make the effort — a truly unique photo spot and unforgettable experience.
Lunch at Local Restaurant
Enjoy a freshly cooked Thai lunch at a nearby local restaurant before beginning the journey back.
Return to Hua Hin
Relax in the comfort of your private vehicle and drive back to your hotel in Hua Hin, arriving in the early afternoon with lasting memories of sunrise lotus fields and the legendary Phraya Nakhon Cave.
