Ayutthaya Temples Photo Tour: A Journey with Personal Photographer
- 08:00 hrs.
A Relaxed Start
Your private driver and photographer meet you at the hotel. Think of the photographer as a friendly creative companion: share a few ideas or simply describe how you would like the photographs to feel. No posing experience or formal briefing is needed.
There is no fixed number or required colour for outfits. Bring what makes you feel comfortable; extra clothing, props and personal items can remain in the air-conditioned vehicle. Where privacy and the vehicle layout allow, you may change in the parked vehicle or make light touch-ups between locations.
- Cafe Break Start your day with a scenic drive to Ayutthaya, located approximately 76 kilometers north of Bangkok. Before entering the historical park area, we’ll make a stop at a charming cafe just outside Ayutthaya. This break will allow you to recharge with some caffeine and ensure your attire and makeup are picture-perfect. Meanwhile, your personal photographer will be prepping their equipment, ready to capture your day.
- Wat Phra Sri Sanphet Visit the most significant temple in Ayutthaya, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, known for its striking chedis. As one of Ayutthaya’s highlights, it draws numerous visitors, yet its vast size allows for ample photography opportunities without feeling overcrowded. Despite its popularity, our personal photographer knows the less frequented yet stunning angles, ensuring your photos with this magnificent backdrop are both breathtaking and unique. Capture the essence of this historical marvel as part of your photographic journey.
- Wat Ratchaburana Just a short distance from Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, Wat Ratchaburana stands as a testament to Ayutthaya’s architectural brilliance. Known for its imposing prang (tower) and alluring ruins, this temple offers numerous picturesque spots perfect for photography. The distinctive features of Wat Ratchaburana not only provide a stunning backdrop but also accentuate the prominence of your subject in each photo. This location is ideal for capturing the contrast between ancient splendor and modern-day allure.
- Wat Phra Ngam Venture a little outside Ayutthaya’s ancient city to the quaint and serene Wat Phra Ngam. This small, abandoned temple is renowned for its ancient gate, famously engulfed by a Banyan tree’s roots, creating a stunning natural frame often referred to as the "Gate of Time." Its off-the-beaten-path location means fewer tourists, offering a tranquil and unhurried atmosphere for photography. This enchanting spot is perfect for capturing mystical and timeless images, allowing you to immerse yourself in the quiet beauty of this hidden gem.
- 12:30 hrs.
- Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Ayutthaya, sampling traditional Thai dishes and savoring the flavors of the ancient capital.
- Wat Chaiwatthanaram End your exploration at the majestic Wat Chaiwatthanaram, an iconic temple of Ayutthaya and a popular filming location for many renowned movies. The temple’s exquisite architecture and its position along the riverbank make it a photographer’s dream, offering numerous stunning angles for your photos. The vast grounds of Wat Chaiwatthanaram are filled with photogenic spots, allowing you to capture its grandeur from multiple perspectives.
- 14:30 hrs.
- Return to Bangkok: After a day filled with exploration and photography, relax as your driver takes you back to your hotel.
- 16:00 hrs.
- Arrive your hotel. Within 48 hours post-tour, receive a collection of professionally captured photographs from your personal photographer, showcasing your journey through Ayutthaya’s historical wonders.
Photography Session Details: Our photography session is designed to capture an unlimited number of photos throughout your tour. Our skilled photographer will guide you to picturesque spots and help design poses that make your photos stand out in a natural and flattering way. We ensure that all usable images—excluding any that are blurred, poorly posed, or where subjects have their eyes closed—are refined through basic post-processing. This editing enhances lighting and shadow to improve the overall visual appeal of your photos. Please note that our editing services do not include altering physical appearances, such as removing blemishes or modifying body dimensions. Photo Delivery: All edited photos will be made available to you via a Google Drive link within 48 hours following the conclusion of your tour. This timeframe allows us to meticulously enhance each photograph, ensuring high-quality results—we are committed to quality and do not wish to rush the process. However, if you require expedited delivery, please inform us, and we will accommodate your needs. Special Editing Requests: For specific adjustments beyond our standard editing, please review the provided gallery and select any images you prefer for further customization. Inform us of your selections, and we will apply the desired edits at no additional charge. We are committed to ensuring that each photo reflects the beauty and uniqueness of your experience in traditional Thai attire. If you require further details or additional services, please feel free to contact us.
- At the cafe, our photographer will discuss potential photography styles with you. Whether you’re looking for a mysterious, lively, or romantic vibe in your pictures, they will provide examples and suggestions to tailor the photoshoot to your preferences. This is an excellent opportunity to personalize your photo journey, ensuring the images reflect your unique style and the ambience of Ayutthaya’s ancient surroundings.
- Comfort During Your Historical Exploration: As ancient sites can be quite warm, it’s advisable to bring along a change of clothes and some makeup for touch-ups throughout the day. You can comfortably store all your belongings in the vehicle, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable and refreshing experience as you explore and photograph Ayutthaya’s historical wonders. This preparation will allow you to fully enjoy capturing the beauty of the temples without worrying about the heat.
