Visit Mae Sai Town Explore this bustling border town, where you can shop for local products from Thailand, Myanmar, and China. Visit the Golden Triangle Travel to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge. Admire the Golden Buddha Statue and enjoy panoramic views of the Mekong River. Visit the Opium Museum Learn about the history and significance of the opium trade in the Golden Triangle at the insightful Opium Museum. Visit Chiang Saen Explore the archaeological remains of Chiang Saen, the original capital of the Lanna Kingdom, dating back to 1328. 12:30 PM / 05:00 PM: Return to Hotel Conclude your tour with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel, enriched by the cultural and historical beauty of Northern Thailand.

I’m a Singapore citizen, will I be able to enter Myanmar? It’s visa free for my passport but I heard they are having some civil issues at the moment, so want to be sure that I can actually visit and that this tour will take me inside Myanmar if I book. Let me know, thanks.? Sartaj - 1 year ago

We regret to inform you that Myanmar is currently not allowing foreign tourists, including Singapore citizens, to cross the border. Entry is currently limited to Thai and Myanmar nationals only. We recommend checking back for updates as the situation may change in the future.

Continue to visit the Golden Triangle where the borders of three countries; Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar are met. See the Golden Buddha Statue and the panoramic view of Mekong River. Then visit the Opium Museum, displaying all the stories about the opium and the Golden Triangle. Then visit Opium Museum, a small museum with historical displays pertaining to opium culture include all the various implements used in the planting, harvest and all information about how dangerous of opium. Lunch serve at the local restaurant on the bank of Mae Khong River. The trip continues to Mae Sai, the Thailand-Myanmar border which is also the northernmost point of Thailand. Enjoy shopping local products from China and Myanmar. Continue to Mae Sai Town, Thai-Myanmar trading border; Stop at immigration check point to process documents for entry into. After formalities cross the Sai River into Tha Chilek Town, Myanmar border town, witness local Burmese life in nearby village. Take a Motor-Tricycle ride to explore the Tha Chilek with its Shan-style temple. Unfortunately, the tour described is not available anymore. It is currently not possible to enter Myanmar.

Regarding the long-tailed boat to Dao Sao village, it is also not available.

After formalities, crossing the Sai River into Tha Chilek Town, a Myanmar border town, and witnessing local Burmese life in a nearby village is not possible either.

The motor-tricycle ride to explore Tha Chilek with its Shan-style temple, city sightseeing through lanes and side streets, and visiting the local market famous for products from Southern China, Laos, and Myanmar is no longer available and cannot be done.
