Day 1: Chiang Mai Arrival / Doi Suthep Temple & Old City Temples
A compact Chiang Mai journey combining old-city temples and Doi Suthep views with Mae Taeng elephants, bamboo rafting and a colourful orchid garden.
Arrive at Chiang Mai Airport, meet your local English-speaking guide, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Meet your guide at your hotel and travel to Wat Chedi Luang, where a vast ruined chedi rises above the old city.
Continue to Wat Phra Singh, admired for its graceful Lanna-style viharn and finely detailed scripture library.
Travel up to Doi Suthep Temple, where a golden chedi and sweeping views await above Chiang Mai. Reach the temple by the 306-step Naga staircase or take the tram. Return to your hotel after the visit.
Day 2: Chiang Mai / Elephant Camp, Bamboo Rafting & Orchid Farm
A compact Chiang Mai journey combining old-city temples and Doi Suthep views with Mae Taeng elephants, bamboo rafting and a colourful orchid garden.
Meet your guide at your hotel and travel to Mae Taeng Elephant Camp (1½ hour drive) through breathtaking mountain landscapes. Enjoy an elephant show demonstrating painting, log pulling, and trained commands, followed by an elephant ride through the lush mountain trails.
Pause for lunch at a local restaurant.
Enjoy a relaxing Bamboo Rafting cruise along the Mae Taeng River, gliding past charming farmhouses amid stunning greenery.
Continue to Bai Orchid & Butterfly Farm, home to a large collection of colourful exotic orchids and a delightful butterfly garden. Return to your hotel after the visit.
