Itinerary
Meet your guide at your hotel and travel through the mountain landscape to Si Satchanalai Historical Park. Explore the quiet riverside ruins, including Wat Chang Lom with its ring of elephant sculptures, the varied chedis of Wat Chedi Jet Thaeo and the delicate stucco of Wat Nang Phaya.
After lunch, continue to Sukhothai Historical Park. See the King Ramkhamhaeng Monument and Wat Mahathat's lotus-bud chedi, then visit the three prangs of Wat Si Sawai and the waterside setting of Wat Traphang Ngoen.
Continue to island-set Wat Sa Si and elephant-ringed Wat Sorasak. Conclude with the monumental seated Buddha at Wat Si Chum and the moated ruins of Wat Phra Phai Luang before returning to Chiang Mai in the late evening.
