DAY 1: CHIANG RAI / WHITE TEMPLE & CITY TEMPLES

Arrive at Chiang Rai Airport, meet and greet with your local English-speaking guide. Depart to visit White Temple (Rong Khun Temple), a masterpiece of modern Thai art and architecture with its striking white facade and intricate design.

Continue to Blue Temple (Rong Sued Ten Temple), a stunning display of contemporary Buddhist art with its vibrant blue color and unique philosophy.

Next, visit Black House (Baan Dam Museum), an intriguing collection of art, sculptures, and traditional Lanna-style wooden buildings by a celebrated Thai artist.

End the day at Emerald Buddha Temple (Phra Kaew Temple), once home to the Emerald Buddha and now housing a jade Buddha image in honor of the late Princess Mother’s 90th birthday. Then transfer to your hotel for check-in and leisure time.

08:00 Hrs. Pick up from the hotel lobby and visit the Long Neck Tribe Village, where women wear iconic brass rings around their necks as part of their cultural heritage.

Continue to Mae Sai Town, Thailand’s northernmost point on the Myanmar border. Shop for unique Myanmar products at the vibrant local market.

Lunch: Served at a local restaurant.

Visit the Golden Triangle, the meeting point of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. Admire the Golden Buddha Statue and panoramic views of the Mekong River. Learn about the region’s opium history at the Opium Museum.

End the day in Chiang Saen Town, an ancient city with ruins of temples, stupas, and a historic city wall. Then return to your hotel.

DAY 3: CHIANG RAI / DOI TUNG ROYAL VILLA & DOI MAE SALONG + AKHA HILL TRIBE VILLAGE

Then transfer back to the hotel.

"Our airport transfer driver on 10/23 asked me to verify the hotel where he’s supposed to drop us off on his phone while he was driving. He seemed to have gotten lost. I gave him a unsatisfied rating because he did not drop us off at the hotel lobby entrance of the Hilton Garden Inn Riverside. He dropped us off at the entrance of the ICS mall and just left us there with our 6 luggages. It was a terrible experience especially traveling with my 85 year old mother and disabled brother. He also was not helpful with passengers getting on and off the van. He did not move the seat forward so passengers in the third row can get on and off easily, Your driver was in a hurry to leave and did not care much about ensuring we were in the right drop off location. Please tell this driver that his level of service for our drop off is really bad. Before driving off he did ask me to check the van to ensure we did not leave anything behind which was good. Thankfully the ICS security lady helped us find our way to the back exit of the first floor of the ICS mall to reach the Hilton hotel lobby. She also got a supermarket shopping cart to carry some of our luggage. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and condition of the van!!! "
