Chiang Rai Classic Adventure

Day 1: CHIANG RAI / WHITE TEMPLE + CITY TEMPLES

Arrive at Chiang Rai Airport, meet and greet with your local English-speaking guide. Depart to visit White Temple (Rong Khun Temple), a masterpiece designed by a famous national artist. Its distinctive white facade is adorned with reflective glass fragments that create a stunning visual effect. Continue to Blue Temple (Rong Sued Ten Temple), a remarkable temple designed by a local artist with striking blue hues and contemporary Buddhist art. Next, visit Black House (Baan Dam Museum), a unique collection of art installations, sculptures, and Lanna-style wooden architecture created by a celebrated national artist. End the day at Emerald Buddha Temple (Phra Kaew Temple), once the home of the sacred Emerald Buddha image and now housing a jade Buddha statue commemorating the late Princess Mother’s 90th birthday. Then transfer to your hotel for check-in and leisure time.

Day 2: LONG NECK TRIBE, MAE SAI BORDER & GOLDEN TRIANGLE

08:00 Hrs. Pick up from the hotel lobby and visit the Long Neck Tribe Village, where women wear brass rings around their necks as part of their cultural identity. Continue to Mae Sai Town, Thailand’s northernmost point on the border with Myanmar. Explore the local market and shop for Myanmar products. Lunch: Served at a local restaurant. Visit the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. See the iconic Golden Buddha Statue and enjoy panoramic views of the Mekong River. Learn about the region’s history at the Opium Museum. Head to Chiang Saen Town, an ancient city with ruins of temples, stupas, and a historic city wall. Then return to your hotel.
