Itinerary
Meet your guide at your hotel and travel along the Mae Taeng route to Hug Chang Elephant Care Center. Change into traditional mahout clothing and learn from the caretakers about elephant behaviour, wellbeing and daily care.
Prepare nutritious herbal sticky-rice balls and supplementary food, then feed the elephants fruit and handmade treats. Make natural herbal soap for their bath and spend time observing or helping as they cool off in the water.
Pause for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
