• The Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, which enshrines the royal remains, is open to the public for paying respects. Due to high visitor volume and ceremonial sensitivities, this area may not be included in the tour during this period.

Temporary Suspension of Canal Tours
Due to seasonal high tides combined with an influx of upstream water into Bangkok, the water level of the Chao Phraya River has significantly risen. In response, floodgates along the inner-city canal network have been closed to protect local communities from flooding.

Additionally, the current strength of the water poses potential safety concerns for boat operations.

As a result, we regret to inform you that all Thonburi Canal Tours are temporarily suspended until the flooding situation improves and conditions are safe for operation.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Itinerary

08:30 hrs.: Depart from your hotel and head to Rattanakosin Island, the historic heart of Bangkok.
09:00 hrs.: Visit Wat Phra Kaeo, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. This is one of the most sacred temples in Thailand and a must-see for any visitor to Bangkok. Explore the intricate decorations and marvel at the beauty of this important Buddhist temple. Admire the intricate details of the temple architecture, and learn about the history and significance of the temple and the Emerald Buddha statue it houses. Take your time to soak in the peaceful atmosphere and admire the stunning craftsmanship on display.

Next, visit the Grand Palace, an impressive complex of buildings that once served as the official residence of the Thai monarchy. Surrounded by walls built in 1782, explore the grand halls and buildings within the palace grounds and admire the intricate details and intricate architecture. Take a stroll through the palace and learn about the history and significance of this important cultural and historical site, a true representation of Thai royalty and culture.
11:00 hrs.: Set sail on a private Long-tail boat, venturing along the Chao Phraya River and into the heart of the Thonburi area’s intricate canals. - Wat Phra Kaew is Thailand most sacred temple, so please do not wear shorts, or sandals.
- Certain buildings in the Palace grounds are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
