💡 Insider Tip
This is the most recognisably Bangkok of the six routes. Afternoon light can be lovely by the river, subject to weather and traffic. Bring any outfits or personal props that make you feel comfortable; there is no required colour or fixed number of changes.
Important Information This programme stays on the Wat Pho side of the river and does not enter Wat Arun. The open riverside view frames the temple clearly from across the water, with fewer crowds and especially attractive late-afternoon light. The photographer concentrates on the photo session rather than sightseeing commentary. A licensed guide or makeup artist may be booked separately in advance. Route order may change with light, traffic, weather, ceremonies and venue access.
Bangkok Instagram Tour - Iconic Scenes with Personal Photographer
Meet your private driver and independent professional photographer at the hotel, then travel to Wat Pho Pier for riverside portraits with the full prang of Wat Arun visible across the Chao Phraya River. The route stays on the Wat Pho side and does not enter Wat Arun, providing a clearer composition with fewer surrounding crowds. Continue to Wat Ratchabophit, the Giant Swing and Loha Prasat for different architectural and street settings before the private transfer back to your hotel. Route order may be adjusted for light, traffic, ceremonies and access.
Itinerary
A Relaxed Start
Your private driver and photographer meet you at the hotel. Think of the photographer as a friendly creative companion: share a few ideas or simply describe how you would like the photographs to feel. No posing experience or formal briefing is needed.
There is no fixed number or required colour for outfits. Bring what makes you feel comfortable; extra clothing, props and personal items can remain in the air-conditioned vehicle. Where privacy and the vehicle layout allow, you may change in the parked vehicle or make light touch-ups between locations.
Wat Pho Pier – Wat Arun and Chao Phraya River Views
The photography session remains on the Wat Pho side of the river and does not cross to or enter Wat Arun. From the pier, the full prang rises clearly across the Chao Phraya River without nearby buildings obstructing the composition, while the surrounding area is generally less crowded than the temple itself.
The open plaza, riverside railings and passing boats provide room for clean portraits and relaxed movement. Softer late-afternoon light can be especially attractive as it reflects across the water.
Wat Ratchabophit – Quiet Royal-Temple Architecture
Continue to Wat Ratchabophit, a refined royal temple combining Thai and European design. Its patterned surfaces, balanced lines and peaceful courtyards create clean portraits with rich architectural detail.
Photography focuses on permitted exterior and public areas. Access can change during religious ceremonies because the temple is an important place of worship and the residence of Thailand's Supreme Patriarch.
Giant Swing – Historic Bangkok Street Scenes
The Giant Swing adds a bold landmark and urban-heritage contrast to the gallery, framed by old Bangkok streets, traditional shopfronts and nearby corners suited to walking and candid photographs.
If a parked tuk-tuk is available, it may be used as a backdrop only with the owner's permission. A small gratuity may be requested and is paid directly. Any drink or purchase at an optional café is also paid directly by guests.
Loha Prasat – The Metal Castle
Loha Prasat at Wat Ratchanatdaram is one of Bangkok's most distinctive structures. Its layered metal spires, golden details and geometric lines offer strong compositions from several angles.
The setting is generally calmer than Bangkok's busiest landmarks and can include selected views towards the Golden Mount. It provides architectural close-ups, wider portraits and a memorable finish to the session.
Return to Hotel & Photo Delivery
After the shoot, your driver will escort you back to your hotel.
Your professionally edited photos will be delivered digitally via Google Drive, ready for easy access and social media sharing.
A Relaxed Photography Experience
Think of the photographer as a friendly creative companion who helps with timing, simple posing and making the session feel easy. Tell the photographer directly if you would like more vertical or horizontal photographs; the final framing also depends on the light, setting and strongest composition.
Photography and Delivery
The photographer selects usable images and adjusts colour, light and shadow. Standard editing does not include beauty retouching, facial reshaping or body alteration. Edited photographs are normally delivered online within 48 hours, with possible delays during peak periods.
Phone Video
This is a still-photography experience. Professional video and editing are not included. When time permits, the photographer may help record a few short clips on the guest's own phone; guests keep and edit the clips themselves.
Outfits, Makeup and Guide
There is no fixed number or required colour for outfits. Extra clothing and props may remain in the vehicle. Hair and makeup are not included, but a makeup artist may be booked separately. The photographer does not provide sightseeing commentary; a licensed guide may also be booked separately.
Photo Privacy
Your photographs remain private and are not published or used for promotion unless you give permission.
