Laem Chabang Port Transfer
A private journey to or from your cruise
Your Laem Chabang cruise transfer, taken care of
Coming ashore should be the start of your day, not a search for transport. Oriental Escape arranges private transfers between Laem Chabang cruise port, Bangkok, Pattaya, Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang Airport (DMK). We handle the vehicle access arrangements, and port entry fees and road tolls are included in the listed route fare.
Share your ship name and travel date. We track the ship's arrival in advance and adjust the pickup if it is early or late. If your ship is delayed, we wait for you. Follow the meeting instructions in your confirmation so you know where to find our team.
Choose the journey that fits your plans
- A one-way transfer: travel between the port and your hotel or airport. Compare routes and vehicle prices.
- A return transfer: arrange an outward journey and a separate pickup back to the ship. Tell us your return time; waiting and sightseeing are not included in a one-way fare.
- A day ashore: tell us your planned stops for a private vehicle quotation, or explore our shore excursions for a sightseeing programme. Check each programme for guide and admission inclusions.
Returning to your ship? Share its all-aboard time, not only its departure time, so we can review the route with time for traffic and port procedures.
Laem Chabang Port Meet & Greet
Your confirmation tells you where to meet our team for your ship. Look for your name sign and let us take care of the vehicle arrangements. Please follow these instructions rather than heading to the port gate or assuming pickup is beside the ship.
Arrival Coordination
We track your ship's arrival before you come ashore. If the ship is delayed, we adjust the pickup and wait for you.
Planned Pickup
Tell us your ship name and travel date. We plan the pickup around the ship and the time you expect to be ready after disembarkation.
Name-Sign Greeting
Our team displays your passenger or group name at the meeting point in your confirmation. Contact us if you need help finding one another.
Operations Support
Returning to the ship or catching a flight? Share the required boarding or departure time so we can review your journey and allow for traffic and port procedures.

Please share your intended destinations in advance. This allows our team to check route feasibility, estimate travel time and brief the assigned driver before the service. The final sequence may change with traffic, opening hours and conditions on the day.
Note:
- Hourly service is calculated from the moment your driver departs your pick-up point until returning to the same location.
- For long-distance one-way journeys (e.g., Bangkok to Chiang Mai), hourly rates do not apply—as the vehicle must return empty to its base. These trips will be quoted separately to ensure fair and transparent pricing.
- You may split your hourly booking into multiple sessions within the same day. For example: use 6 hours in the morning, and another 4 hours in the evening. Idle time between sessions will not be charged.
- In Phuket and Koh Samui, the minimum booking starts from 4 hours.
- Rates apply only to travel on flat or standard city routes. For journeys involving steep mountain roads or high-altitude routes, please check the price with our staff again.
- For travel in Koh Samui and Koh Chang, where fuel prices differ from the mainland, a fuel surcharge of THB 200 / vehicle / hour applies.

Please share a tentative daily plan with approximate pickup times and intended destinations. We use it to brief the assigned driver and check route feasibility. Changes can be requested during the trip but depend on driving hours, route, availability and the booking conditions.
Tip:
If you need the vehicle for only a few hours each day, compare the hourly rates. The suitable option depends on the schedule and route.

Meeting Point at Laem Chabang Port
InclusionLaem Chabang Port has several cruise berths. Your exact meeting point depends on where your ship docks and will be stated in your booking confirmation.
After disembarking, please follow your cruise line’s or the port’s instructions to the official passenger meeting area. Our representative will be waiting with a sign displaying the lead passenger’s name and will escort you to the nearest permitted vehicle pickup point. Due to port access and parking restrictions, the vehicle may not be able to wait beside the ship.
Large cruise ships may disembark thousands of passengers at the same time, making the meeting area crowded. If you cannot immediately see your name sign, please do not worry. Remain at the official meeting area and do not walk to the parking area.
Please call our HOTLINE or contact our office via Live Chat. Our team will help locate you as soon as possible.
Disembarkation times may vary depending on passenger volume and port procedures. Our team normally arrives before the scheduled pickup time and will be ready if you disembark earlier than expected.

Why travel with Oriental Escape
Reassurance comes from knowing who is looking after your journey and what to expect.
An established travel team
Oriental Escape has arranged private transfers and tours in Thailand since 2005. You book with a team that understands the whole holiday.
Care before departure
Vehicles are cleaned and checked for the journey. Tell us about larger bags or child-seat needs so we can confirm a suitable arrangement.
A quote you can understand
See the vehicle, route and included items before you book. Special-route charges and additional requests are explained in advance.
Someone to contact
A flight change or a different hotel? Let our support team know. We will check the new arrangements and explain any effect on the price.
Before your Laem Chabang transfer
- Where will I meet your team at Laem Chabang Port?
- Follow the meeting instructions in your booking confirmation and look for your passenger or group name. We confirm the meeting point for your ship; it is not always beside the vessel. Please contact our team if you need help finding us rather than walking to the main port gate.
- What happens if my cruise ship arrives early or late?
- We track your ship's arrival in advance and adjust the pickup arrangements if it is early or late. If the ship is delayed, we wait for you. Docking time is different from the time you are ready after disembarkation, so follow your confirmed pickup arrangements and contact us if you are held up after coming ashore.
- How far ahead should I book my port transfer?
- Please book in advance so we can arrange the vehicle and port access for your ship. If your request is last-minute, contact our team to check whether a pickup can be arranged before making plans around it. A same-day request is not a confirmed booking, and availability should not be assumed.
- Are Laem Chabang Port entry fees and road tolls included?
- Yes. Port vehicle entry fees and the road tolls for the listed route are included in the transfer fare. Prices are per vehicle for a one-way journey, unless stated otherwise. Extra stops, sightseeing, waiting for a return journey or a different route need to be agreed separately; check the confirmed inclusions before booking.
- Can you bring us back to the ship after visiting Bangkok or Pattaya?
- Yes. You can arrange an outward transfer and a separate pickup back to the port. Tell us the return pickup location and your ship's all-aboard time. If you want the vehicle to stay with you for sightseeing, ask for an itinerary-based quotation instead. A guide and attraction admissions are not included in a standard transfer; check the chosen shore-excursion programme if you need them.
- How much time should I allow before boarding my ship or catching a flight?
- Tell us your ship's required boarding or all-aboard time, or your flight number and departure time. We can then review the pickup and route with you. Allow for disembarkation, traffic, port procedures and airline check-in where relevant. Journey times are estimates, not guarantees, and a tight connection needs to be checked before you book.
- What if my cruise cancels its call or changes to another port?
- Contact our support team as soon as your cruise line confirms the change. We will check whether the transfer can be rearranged and explain any effect on the fare. Any cancellation or refund will be reviewed under the terms of your confirmed booking, so please check with us before making a replacement reservation.
- Which vehicle should I choose for cruise luggage or children?
- Tell us how many people are travelling, the number and size of suitcases, children's ages, and any mobility equipment. The passenger limit alone does not show how many large bags will fit. Use the vehicle capacity information and ask our team to check the arrangement if you are unsure. Request a child seat in advance so it can be confirmed for your journey.

We had a marvellous day.
Your driver was ready for us at the pier and we were away in 10 minutes.
Sadly we assumed the same driver was going to pick us up for the return.
Is there a way of getting a tip to him?
The driver for our return was equally as good and was waiting for us at the designated pick up point, and he swiftly returned us to port.
Thank you again.

"We were to be picked up at the port at 10:00am. The driver was given the wrong information, he was walking around in the heat and we were standing in the heat for over an hour with his sign reading Carlos. Our names are Jane and Don.
I contacted your company 4 times and it was finally resolved, and the driver was given the correct information.
The car was clean and we reached our destination but we were very worried we had no ride for over an hour.
The trip to the airport was seamless. Very nice driver, arrived on time no problems."Laem Chabang - Bangkok [Family Car]

"Was in a bit of a panic the day before arriving by cruise ship to the port for Bangkok when learning how far it was from the city... and not having made arrangements. But noticed this service on orientalescape had good reviews and took the opportunity. It was an excellent service and trustworthy. They responded by email quickly with details of the driver and car and pick-up point, etc. And the driver was contactable immediately upon disembarkation from the ship. It was a flawless transfer. The driver and car were excellent. Would recommend. "Laem Chabang - Bangkok [Executive Car]

"I would like to express my gratitude to the Oriental Escape team for the SUV service that picked up me and my family from Laem Chabang Port to Bangkok yesterday.
I was impressed with everything about your company, from the ease and convenience of booking the vehicle through your website upon our arrival at the port in Thailand.
I found the Oriental Escape driver waiting with a sign bearing the names of the passengers at the exit, ready and waiting, even though I emerged earlier than the scheduled time.
My driver was excellent—driving well without speeding and was very polite.
Thank you, and I look forward to using your services again."Laem Chabang - Bangkok [Family Car]

"Get rid of the infusion therapy in the spa. It could be dangerous to certain people. It shouldn’t qualify as a spa treatment. It’s a medical procedure that scientific research says does nothing but give participants expensive urine. "Laem Chabang - Bangkok [Executive Car]

"The driver is professional and friendly. Interaction for booking was efficient via email. It would be better if the company or the driver can be reached via interactive social media like WhatsApp, especially for that price range. Not all traveller has phone plan to call the driver.
