Some ferry companies operate joint ferry services from Bangkok to Samui, but these don’t run daily and usually involve long travel times and shared transport. For those who prefer a more comfortable and private experience, Oriental Escape offers two main options: Option 1: Private car transfer from Bangkok to Donsak Pier (Surat Thani), where you board the ferry to Samui on foot. A second vehicle will be arranged to pick you up on the island and drive you to your hotel. Option 2: Full door-to-door private transfer using the same vehicle from Bangkok all the way to your hotel in Koh Samui—including the ferry ride. This option is more costly but offers maximum comfort, especially if you’re traveling with family or lots of luggage. To ensure the smoothest journey, we recommend two possible travel plans: - Late-Night Departure: Leave Bangkok at night and sleep on the way. You’ll reach the pier in the early morning and catch one of the first ferries to the island. - Early-Morning Departure: Start your journey from Bangkok at dawn. You’ll arrive at the pier by late afternoon and cross to Koh Samui by evening.
