Khao Yai National Park Trekking
Itinerary
07:00 hrs.
Pick-up from your hotel in Bangkok. Travel toward Khao Yai National Park via the scenic Prachinburi route.
Morning Coffee Stop
A short break at a local market or café for refreshments before entering the national park.
Arrive at Khao Yai Visitor Center
Register for trekking and hire an official park ranger (required for forest trails).
This is also the time to prepare your clothing, adjust shoes, refill water, and receive a safety briefing.
Begin Trek: Pha Kluai Mai Nature Trail
After registration, head to the trailhead with your ranger/guide.
The Pha Kluai Mai trail is approximately 3 km and considered moderate — suitable for beginners with basic fitness.
The path passes forest floors, bamboo groves, jungle streams, and shaded rocky sections.
Along the way, there are chances to see birds, reptiles (including freshwater crocodiles), insects, orchids, and many interesting jungle plants.
Arrive at Haew Suwat Waterfall
The trek concludes at the iconic Haew Suwat Waterfall — a scenic reward at the end of the hike.
Enjoy time for photography and relaxing near the falls.
Lunch in the National Park
Lunch served at the national park restaurant (included).
Scenic Forest Drive
Continue exploring Khao Yai by private car. Stop at lakes, reservoirs, and animal-watching spots where wildlife often appears.
Return to Bangkok
Relax in your private vehicle and travel back to Bangkok with early evening arrival.
