Therefore, we cannot guarantee 100% that you will see elephants bathing during your boat ride, or how many elephants you may encounter. "Ayutthaya was HOT… and rainy!
We booked a full-day tour and yes, it was exhausting — but totally worth it. Our guide was amazing! Super chill, didn’t rush us, and even showed us some hidden photo spots I wouldn’t have found on my own
Our driver was also great — brand new car, cold A/C, snacks on board, cold towels, and even umbrellas when the rain hit.
Honestly, I felt very well taken care of.
Tiring day, but full of cool moments. Highly recommend if you want a smooth trip in comfort" Ayutthaya’s Heritage: Boat Ride & Elephant Bathing Adventure

Ayutthaya’s Heritage: Boat Ride & Elephant Bathing Adventure
Will I definitely see elephants bathing during the Ayutthaya boat trip? Lua - 136 Days ago
A
While our boat route passes by the elephant bathing area, we cannot guarantee 100% that elephants will be in the river at the time of your visit. Typically, elephants from nearby camps come to bathe after they finish daytime activities, usually between 16:00 and 17:30 hrs. The number of elephants and the timing may vary each day. However, we always check with the camps in advance and try our best to adjust the boat schedule to give you the best possible chance of seeing this special scene. Q
Can I start the Ayutthaya program in the morning instead of noon and return to Bangkok around midday? Fang - 244 Days ago
A
Absolutely. You’re welcome to begin the tour earlier in the day and return to Bangkok by noon. Please note that the original program does not include lunch, so starting earlier will not change the price, but lunch will be at your own expense if you wish to add it.
One important note: elephants only bathe in the river in the late afternoon, typically around 16:00–17:30 hrs. If you choose the morning schedule, you won’t be able to see elephants bathing. However, we’ll take you to visit the elephant camp near the Historical Park instead — a lovely and respectful encounter with these gentle giants. Wittaya L - answered within 1 Hour [TicketID # 7066]
