Ayutthaya Road Trip from Laem Chabang Port
Your private driver will meet you at Laem Chabang Cruise Port, holding a sign with your name for a warm welcome.
From there, enjoy a comfortable ride to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam, where you can explore freely at your own pace.

After sightseeing, shopping, or dining, your driver will take you safely back to the port — all within the same day.
Itinerary
- 08:00 hrs.
- Pick-up from Laem Chabang Port and transfer to Ayutthaya (approx. 2.5- 3 hours drive).
- 10:30 hrs.
- Arrive in Ayutthaya — the ancient capital of Siam and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a flexible, self-guided exploration of the city with your private driver at your service throughout the day. You may choose which temples or landmarks to visit based on your own interests. Recommended attractions include: • Wat Mahathat – Famous for the Buddha head entwined in tree roots. • Wat Ratchaburana – Known for its impressive prang and ancient crypt murals. • Wat Phra Si Sanphet – The former royal temple of Ayutthaya Kingdom. • Wat Yai Chai Mongkol – Iconic large chedi and reclining Buddha. • Wat Lokayasutharam – Home to a massive reclining Buddha statue. • Chao Sam Phraya National Museum – Exhibiting royal treasures and artifacts from Ayutthaya’s golden age.
- 12:30 hrs.
- Lunch at a local riverside restaurant. Enjoy authentic Thai cuisine with scenic views of the Chao Phraya River. After lunch, continue your own exploration.
- 17:00 hrs.
- Depart from Ayutthaya and transfer back to Laem Chabang Port. Please note: Most temple sites in Ayutthaya close around 17:00 hrs. Kindly inform us of your ship’s departure time so we can plan your return accordingly.
- 20:00 hrs.
- Arrive Laem Chabang Port. Notes • Drivers are not licensed tour guides and are not permitted to provide historical commentary at the sites (as per Thai law). • Please inform us in advance of the places you would like to visit, so the driver can plan an efficient route without unnecessary backtracking. • Please prepare some Thai Baht cash for entrance fees. (ATMs and currency exchange services are available near the port and in Ayutthaya.)
