ITINERARY
DAY1 : BANGKOK-KORAT
Meets & greets by local English speaking guide at your major hotel in Bangkok
Depart from Bangkok by private vehicle air-con to visit to Nakorn Ratchasima
Visit to Khao Yai National Park. Within this refreshing and scenic landscape, with it?s bizarre mountains, there is still untouched jungle, mountain streams and many waterfalls, with a preserved animal world, which includes wild elephants, buffaloes, deer?s porcupines, varieties of monkeys, parrots and parakeets, huge hornbills and another 250 species of birds.
Start Waterfall Traveling
Heaw Narok Waterfall
The biggest and highest waterfall in this area, is situated in the south part of Khao Yai National Park. The waterfall is a three-level cascade, its water drops step by step from 60-meter high of first level to the second and third level with about 90 degrees, approximately 150 meters, to its very deep abyss which is very fearsome when the water falls heavily in the rains.
Pha Kluy Mai Waterfall (Orchid?s Cliff Waterfall)
The waterfall is a medium-size waterfall, which has Wai Dang (Red Orchid) grow on its cliff and be the symbol of its area. The waterfall is be reached by walking.
Heaw Suwat Waterfall
Being well known by many people, Heaw Suwat Waterfall is situated at the end of Thanarat Road and three kilometers from Pha Kluy Mai Waterfall by walking. There is water dropped from 20-meter high cliff onto a pond below which is appropriate for playing water but not in the rains because there are very much cold and heavily flowing water.

Visit Pha Daew Dai Viewpoint, located on the route leading up to Khao Khaew. To reach the point, visitors must park their cars on the roadside and walk 200 meters through hill evergreen forest. Pha Daew Dai is an area of flat ground on a wide steep cliff. From this point, visitors can view Khao Rom. On the right hand side in the far distance is Thung Ngoo Lueam. Khao Samor Poon and evergreen forest in Prachin Buri Province encompass this area of grassland.
En-route visit Jungle House Camp to experience a 45-minute elephant ride with a trusted mahout (elephant caretaker) through the lush forest. Elephant riding in the jungle crossing the creek.
After tour, continue transfer to hotel in Khao Yai, Check-in to room & free at leisure

DAY2 : KORAT-UBON RATCHATHANI

Depart from hotel to visit Dan Kwian, Situated on Highway No. 24, about 14 kilometers from the city of Nakhon Ratchasima is a village noted for unique pottery widely used for interior and outdoor decoration. The uniqueness of Dan Kwian clay is its durability, pliability and rusty color. When combined with attractive designs and the proper heating process the products are irresistible.
Visit to Lion Pulpit at Ban Chi Thuan, Located in a sermon hall of Wat Si Nuan Saeng Sawang Arom, the pulpit was elaborately crafted in the form of a lion upholding a tower. This Vietnamese-style pulpit was built in 1925 by a Vietnamese artist. The site is located approximately 26 kilometres from the district town. To get there; travel along Highway No. 23 (Ubon Ratchathani Yasothon) for approximately 24 kilometers. Upon reaching the 268-km. marker, turn left to the village and proceed for another 5 kilometers.
Visit to Wat Maha Wananaram temple or Wat Pa Yai, Given the location of the temple in the midst of dense forest (pa yai in Thai) in times past, the temple was aptly named Wat Pa Yai.The temple houses Phra Chai Yai In Paeng, a revered Buddha image in the Mara Vijaya posture (Victory over Mara or Subduing Mara, the demon), also commissioned by the ruling nobility of Ubon Ratchathani.It is the only temple that has preserved the ancient northeastern style of chanting and preaching. Phra Chai Yai In Paeng is also invoked in merit-making rituals during the Songkran Thai New Year celebrations, every April.

Visit to Wat Supattanaram, This is a royal temple of the Dhammayut Sect in the northeast. The temple, built in 1853 on the bank of the Mun River surrounded by beautiful and tranquil scenery. There is a Thai-Chinese-European style ordination hall, which houses the principal serene Buddha image of the temple.
Visit to Wat Nong Bua, This is the only temple in this province that has a rectangular Chedi, which is an imitation of Chedi Buddhakhaya of India. The temple is located on the outskirts of Ubon Ratchathani on Highway No. 212 (Ubon-Amnat Charoen). At the 3-km. marker on the highway, turn into a side road and proceed for 800 meters to the temple.

DAY3 : UBON RATCHATHANI

Depart from hotel to visit Kaeng Saphue, which is the most beautiful cataract in Ubon Ratchthani, is in the Mun River near the Phibun Mangsahan District Office, about 45 kilometers from Ubon Ratchathani City center, on the left-hand side of Highway No. 217. This beautiful cataract of natural rocks is visible for half the year during the dry season.
Visit to Pha Taem National Park, This park covers an area of 140 square kilometers, where plateaus and hills dominate the parks landscape. There are sheer cliffs, which resulted from earthquakes. Most trees are of the deciduous dipterocarp forest. Irregular shaped sandstone is found scattered throughout the area. Beautiful flowering plants grow among the rocky ground. Travelling can be made from Khong Chiam District along Highway No. 2134, followed by Highway No. 2112, and then turning right for another 5 kilometers. Places of interest within the park are:
Pha Taem and Pha Kham are located near the national park headquarters. On the cliffs surface are numerous prehistoric cave paintings dating back 3,000-4,000 years ago that offer insight into the way of life that existed during the pre-historic days and reflect the ancient lifestyle of the people who once lived in the area. These painting depict scenes of fishing, rice farming, figures of people, animals, hands and geometric designs. It should be noted that the most extensive site for cave paintings in the country is that of Pha Taem.

Visit to Kaeng Tana National Park, This park can be reached on two routes. The first route is by taking Highway No. 2222 where visitors will be presented with a beautiful view of Kaeng Tana. On the other hand, visitors can take the route to the National Park Office along Highway No. 217 (Phibun Mangsahan-Chong Mek route) and turning left onto Highway No. 2173 and proceeding for another 13 kilometers.

DAY4 : UBON RATCHATHANI - NAKORN PHANOM

Depart from hotel to visit Ban Chang Tho Royal Folk Arts and Craft Training Centre (Amnat Charoen), Located 5 kilometres from Amphoe Hua Taphan, the centre offers training course on various local crafts such as weaving and gems cutting. The centre here produces world-class gems cutting technician. Tourist can enjoy witness the production process and wide selections of products.
Visit to Ban Kham Phra Handicraft Centre(Amnat Charoen), The centre is located at Ban Kham Phra, on Hua Taphan-Amnat Charoen highway, 2 kilometres from Amphoe Hua Taphan’s Office. The centre offers various handicrafts made by housewife. “Khit”, hand woven cloth with delicate pattern, and handicrafts made from the beautiful fabric are available. Tourist can watch the production demonstration and enjoy great selection of the products.

Visit to Tham Saeng Phet Temple (Wat Tham Saeng Phet-Amnat Charoen), The temple is located on Amnat Charoen-Khemarat Road, 18 kilometres from the city, and 2 kilometres off the main road uphill. Located on spacious sandstone plain, the temple has vihara, pagoda, and huge reclining Buddha. North of the vihara is a big cave housing a beautiful Buddha image. Tourist can walk around to enjoy rock formation of Sala Phun Hong. This cave is named Saeng Phet or ‘diamond’s glitters’ due to its flashing glitter rock. Wat Tham Saeng Phet is meditation centre of those who honour Achan Cha Suphatto, famous monk from Wat Nong Pa Phong. Foreign monks always come for practicing mediation here.

DAY5 : NAKORN PHANOM - UDON THANI

Depart from hotel to visit Phra That Phanom is located 50 kilometers from Nakhon Phanom town on Highway No. 212. It is the most important Buddhist site in the province. A 53-meters tall square-shaped pagoda, it was believed to have been built before the 12th century. The pagoda, which is believed to have originally been of Khmer design, was renovated through the years to its present Laotian design. The pagoda enshrines the holy relics of the Lord Buddha. On August 11, 1975 at 7 p.m., the entire pagoda collapsed after many days of rainstorm. The Thai public subsequently made considerable donations to rebuild the pagoda to its original splendor. People placed many valuables inside and placed a 110-kilogram solid gold spire on top of the pagoda.
Visit to Hat Thai Mueang, Thai Mueang Beach is a freshwater beach that appears only during the dry season from February to April when it extends to the middle of the Mekong River almost reaching the river bank on the Laos side. This beach is another excellent place from which to enjoy the river view from dusk to dawn.
