ITINERARY
DAY1 : KANCHANABURI HIGHTLIGHT
07:30 Depart Bangkok for Kanchanaburi.
10:00 Arrive kanchanaburi, visit:
- Thailand-Burma Railway Centre: An open-air museum constructed in the form of actual prisoners of war (POW) camp. There are collections of photographs, pictures, articles, pistols, knives, and other items from the construction of the 'Death Railway'.
- Kanchanaburi War Cemetery: The cemetery of the remains of over 6,000 prisoners of war, who lost their lives during the construction of the “Death Railway”. Continue to visit he world’s famous Bridge on the River Kwai . As depicted in the movie and a part of the “Death Railway”, the historical black iron bridge was the target of allied bombing during 1945.
12:00 Take a train ride along party of the 'Death Railway' to Nam-Tok station, the last existing train station of the Thailand-Burma railway in Thailand, passing the dangerous looking wooden viaduct built along the mountain.
13:00 Arrive Nam-Tok station. Transfer to River Kwai Village Hotel.
13:30 Check-in at the hotel upon arrival. Thai lunch at jungle View Restaurant.
15:00 Tiger Temple: Take a van to Tiger Temple in these beautiful Surroundings,dedicated Buddhist monks live with numerous wild animals including may tigers and take a photos nearness.
17:00 Transfer back to the hotel by Transport.
19:00 European dinner at hotel. Accommodation.
Overnight : Kanchanaburi
Meal : Lunch + Dinner
DAY2 : HELLFIRE PASS & THE ELEPHANT TOUR
07:30 American breakfast.
08:30 Hellfire Pass & the Elephant Tour: Depart the hotel to visit Hellfire pass memorial and a cutting mountain for a railway track which was done by hands of the Allied prisoners.
10:30 Continue to the Elephant camp, by bamboo rafting along a rushing stream o f Kwai Noi river. Arrive the Elephant Camp for and exciting elephant back-riding through a jungle. Picnic lunch will be provided.
16.45 Depart the Elephant Camp for hotel.
19.00 European dinner. Accommodation
Overnight : Kanchanaburi
Meal : Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY3 : DEPART KANCHANABURI
08:00 American Breakfast. Morning at leisure.
12:30 Thai lunch.
14:30 Depart the hotel for Bangkok
19:00 Arrive Bangkok. Transfer to hotels.
