ITINERARY
DAY1 : NAKHONPATHOM & KANCHANABURI CITY
Meet your private English-speaking guide in the hotel's lobby.
Depart for Nakhon Pathom, visit Phra Pathom Chedi, the world's tallest Buddhist monument. The orange-tiled chedi dates back from the mid-1850s. It encases an earlier chedi, and attracts Buddhist pilgrims from all over the world.
Depart for Kanchanaburi, located 128 kilometers (80 miles) west of Bangkok. It is Thailand's third largest province with an area of 19,486 square kilometers. The provincial area is mountaineous and has the west border next to Myanmar.
Visit JEATH War Museum, a realistic depiction of prisoner of war living quarters, with photographic, pictorial and physical memorabilia dating from World War II. Continue to Kanchanaburi War Cemetery It contains the remains of 6,982 war prisoners (mostly the British, Dutch, Australian and American) who lost their lives during the construction of the Bridge over the River Kwai and the railway to Burma (the Death Railway).
After Dinner, Visit Kanchanaburi Night Market. You will find there various local Thai specialities and self made Thai sweets. The choice is huge and often unexpected delicious. Overnight : Superior Room - Felix River Kwai, Kanchanaburi Meal : Dinner
DAY2 : BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER KWAI / TIGER TEMPLE constructed by Allied prisoners of war. Take leisurely walks around town and pictures on the world-renowned Death Railway.
Train ride on Death Railway through magnificent scenery, passing over the original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs.
Lunch at local restaurant. Then visit Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua - well known as Tiger Temple. The Tiger Temple is a rescue centre for wild animals and the home of wild tigers, wild pigs, deer, antelopes, water buffalos, apes and a hand full other animals. The tigers are taken out from their cage from in the afternoon and visitors can even touch them. The tigers brought tiger cubs into the world there.
Transfer from Tiger Temple to Resotel Pier. Take a long-tailed boat from pier to get to the resort, passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery.
Dinner, followed by a 45-minute presentation of Mon Dance and overnight. Overnight : Rafting Room (None-Aircon) - River Kwai Jungle Raft, Kanchanaburi Meal : Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY3 : SRINAKARIN DAM / ERAWAN WATERFALL Hearty American Breakfast. Depart from Resort.
Visit Srinakarin Dam, the country's largest hydropower producer of electricity. Listen to lecture and take pictures around the reservoir.
Buffet lunch at local restaurant. Depart the dam for the largest and most beautiful waterfall in the western region, Erawan Waterfall is on the bank of Kwai Yai River in Khao Salop (Erawan) National Park. It is about 2,000 metres tall divided into 7 levels.
The atmosphere in this always-verdant national park is serene, peaceful and rich with innumerable plant and flower species, perfectly conducive to sight-seeing and trekking. Relax, swim and enjoy natural surroundings at own leisure.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Transfer to Resotel Pier. Take a long-tailed boat from pier to get to the resort.

DAY4 : LAWA CAVE & HELL FIRE PASS TREKING Hearty American Breakfast. Take a Mountain Biking to explore local area and visit Lawa Cave, explore the fascinating rock formations inside.
Check out from Resort. Then visit Hellfire Pass Memorial and Memorial Museum.
Hellfire Pass is a 500 metres long and 26 metres deep section of rock that was dug out by Prisoners of War intended to allow the ‘Death Railway’ to continue its route from Bangkok to Rangoon. Soldiers were forced to remove the rock using no more than picks, hammers and their bare hands. Of the 1,000 Australian and British soldiers who took 12 weeks to clear the stretch of mountain, 700 died. The Hellfire Pass Memorial and Memorial Museum were set up to commemorate these fallen. The memorial comprises a trail where visitors follow the old railway track into the jungle and a museum. The museum contains pictures and tools alongside video exhibitions and showing of documentaries about the events.
Lunch at local restaurant. Continue further north to the uniquely scenic border land of Sangklaburi. Reach Vajiralongkorn or Khao Laem Dam in the splendid location surrounded by the mountains.
Arrive the borderland of Sangklaburi town in late afternoon. Glimpse the underwater temple of the old community and the impressive view of the ethnic town with Thailand’s longest Wooden Bridge being its landmark. Swiming or canoeing in Khao Laem Dam available at your leisure.
Enjoy the sunset from Khao Laem. Thai dinner with its authentic taste in the candlelit night and overnight stay. Overnight : Standard Air Condition - P Guest House, Kanchanaburi Meal : Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY5 : SANGKLABURI OFF-BEATEN JOURNEY Breakfast at guest house. Enjoy a leisure boat trip on the magnificent Khao Laem lake to the floating villages in a scenic location, 15 kms from the town. On the way, make a brief stop at the underwater old temple (if the water level is not so high that the temple remnants get entirely flooded).
Start the 1.5 hours elephant riding into the near by jungle up and down the mountainous terrain. The riding runs along, apparently, the Thailand’s most beautiful elephant track that cuts through the village’s hill farms before leading to a gorgeous stream in the natural area with its tropical spell and dramatic landscapes featuring pristine forests and gorges.
Then take a bamboo raft back (30-45 minutes depending on how strong the current is). Have great fun with a wild journey on the rapid stream and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the riverine forest. Transfer back to hotel for lunch.
Afternoon, walk across the Mon wooden bridge over the river to the biggest Mon community in Thailand. Mon is an ethnic minority whose origin is in Myanmar. Here, they live peacefully and their tradition has been continually practised.
Then visit Wat Wang Wiwekaram. This extensive temple on the southern outskirts of Sangkhla Buri edges on Khao Laeem Dam. The complex is constructed in an unusual mix of Thai, Indian, and Burmese Buddhist architectural styles, and the abbot Lauang Pho Uttama is highly revered among local people, including tribal folk and Burmese. Shopping of wooden items can be very attractive due to the distinctive designs and reasonable prices. Transfer back to hotel. Enjoy the sunset from Khao Laem and dinner at the hotel. DAY6 : DEPART KANCHANABURI Breakfast at guest house before depart from Sangklaburi.
Enjoy a natural spa while bathing in a mineral water of Hindad Hot Spring.
Reach Sai Yok Noi Waterfall. Lunch at local restaurnat. Leave form Kanchanaburi pass green paddy fields, villages, and temples then return to bangkok. Overnight : - Meal : Breakfast + Lunch
