ITINERARY
DAY1 : ARRIVE BANGKOK Arrive Bangkok Airport. Welcome and transfer to hotel by private car. Overnight : Bangkok Meal : -
DAY2 : CITY ADVENTURE BY WALKING / BANGKOK NIGHTLIFE
Breakfast at the hotel. City adventure start by walking through Pak Khlong Talat the biggest fresh flower market in the city. The variety includes roses, daisies and more exotic species such as orchids in every colour and shade imaginable.
Visit Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), founded in the 16th century, the oldest and biggest temple with the largest number of pagodas (95 in all) in the city. Wat Pho was the first open university of Thailand which offered courses in several branches of knowledge like literature, astrology, medicine and massage. It's well known for its huge Reclining Buddha, 46 m. long and 15 m. high.
Continue on foot passing through Bamrung Muang Road, one of the very firsts in Bangkok, runs through the old districts of the city. Many forgotten buildings and landmarks along the road reflect how fast the city has changed. Road was stacked with shops selling beautiful buddha images, bowls monks carry on their morning rounds, candles, incense sticks and related items.
Then visit Wat Suthat, this temple is famous for the excellent murals created in the reign of King Rama III. The Wihara (preaching hall) should be seen for its collection of gilded Buddha images. A huge door with intricate carving, which is the masterpiece of King Rama II, once belonged to this temple and is now kept in the National Museum.
In front of the temple is the Giant Swing, this religious structure of Bangkok was originally constructed in 1784 and was proclaimed as the national historical site since 1949. With 21-metre height, painted in red color and the unique structure of wooden pillars it has become one of the symbols of Bangkok.
Continue the tour by passing though Bangkok city hall to visit the Golden Mount, this is an artificial hill topped by a gilded pagoda. The mount is 260 feet in height from its base. Begun by King Rama III and completed in the reign of King Rama IV, it is one of the most celebrated landmarks in Bangkok's old area and offers a panoramic city view from the top.
Lunch at local restaurant before transfer back to hotel or you may like to try some foot massage in the afternoon (optional).
Dining at Bangkok Sky Restaurant, located on the top of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel which is the tallest hotel in Thailand. You can enjoyed all sorts of delicious food while enjoying the sight of Bangkok. After dinner, you can access to the observation and revolving roof decks, which offers its visitors a spectaculary unobstructive view of Bangkok in all its panaromic glory.
After dining, our guide will accompany you to explore local nightlife. (shopping, clubbing, bar flying, or a cultural show) Overnight : Bangkok Meal : Breakfast (Hotel) + Lunch + Dinner
DAY3 : BANGKOK SIGHISEEING BY TRAIN & BOAT / KHAO SAN ROAD Breakfast at the hotel and take city tour on the BTS Sky Train which offers a vantage point to vistas and greenery most locals have never seen. Ride along the heart of Bangkok passing through Siam Square, a major shopping district and home to Bangkok's youth culture. Pass along the main business district and Erawan Shrine, famed for its four-headed golden statue of Brahma.
The Sky Train tour is followed by a boat tour on the Chao Phraya River Express to old Bangkok (Rattanakosin Island), the original area of Bangkok when it was first established as the capital over 200 years ago. En route you can see many magnificent temples and architectural buildings, including the First Presbyterian Church, the Royal Thai Navy Dockyard, the Thai Maritime Navigation Company, the Old Customs House and the Royal Boat House.
Visit Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), the most beautiful and important Buddhist temple in Thailand. It is so richly and intricately decorated that, once entering the temple, you will feel as if you are in a real 'city of angels'.
Lunch at local restaurant.
City-sightseeing tour along Ratchadumnoen Rd.(The Royal's Way). En route you can see many magnificent temples and architectural buildings, including the city pillar shrine, National Museum, Democracy Monument, Golden Mountain, Thai Boxing Stadium, Anantasamakhom Palace, National Assembly, Dusit Zoo and Chitlada Palace King's Residence.
Transfer back to your hotel. You are free at leisure or shopping in the afternoon.
Fine Dining at Supatra River house, located at the best panorama view especially sunset overlooking the Chao Phya River, the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, which are highlights of Bangkok. The restaurant will offer variety of great modern Art & Thai classical theatre shows at free cost every Friday and Saturday. Show Program will be changed every week.
Visit Khao San Road where the worlds young travellers meet. Khao San Road is a favourite crossroads for the young travellers on a budget. It has evolved over the last two decades from just one small hostel providing low-budget accommodation become one of the worlds most well-known destinations. At night, it turns into a lively thoroughfare lined with street stalls selling cheap clothes, handicrafts, souvenirs and thousands of other items. The lights are on at the many bars where the travellers tell tales of the days adventures and discoveries and the plans for tomorrow. Khao San Road is not just for foreign travellers, many young Thai people like to hang out there. Overnight : Bangkok Meal : Breakfast (Hotel) + Lunch + Dinner
DAY4 : DEPART BANGKOK Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until your private transfer to the Bangkok airport or extend your relaxing stay in Pattaya, Chiang Mai or Phuket. Overnight : - Meal : Breakfast (Hotel)
