ITINERARY
| Depart Hua Hin in early morning, cross the country, see the farmers life, pineapple, mango, papaya, rice more.
Then Arrival at the Kaeng Krachan reservoir. The reservoir covers an area of 46.5 s.q.km and has a capacity of 710 million cubic meters. It was built by earth, which blocked the Petchburi River. The largest island in the lake is approximately 75 s.q.km.
Arrive Kaeng Krachan National Park, The most extensive national park of Thailand, occupying a largely unexplored area of 2,915 square kilometers. Kaeng Krachan was declared a national park on 12 June 1981. The park is located 53.5 kilometers from the city and is 3 kilometers beyond Khuean Kaeng Krachan (Kaeng Krachan Dam).
We go into the jungle by a road, which has been constructed in 1988 especially for tourists. It begins at the Kao Sam Yod ranger station. This road runs through primary forest and offers spectacular views of mountains and wildlife, an ocean of mountain ranges covered in deep-green forest all year round. s we travel in a small group, you will have a great chance to see many kind of animal, as well hear the great call of the white handed gibbon. Bird watching is also possible at Kaeng Krachan National Park. It is very common to see the most uncommon kind of birds at this biggest park of Thailand. The great hornbill is one of the birds we often spot at the park, just as many of the over 600 kind of birds that have been seen in the kingdom.
Lunch at Ban Krang station and trek along the jungle track, back to Kaeng Krachan reservoir and sail on the lake with photogenic scenery. | |
